A Brief Introduction to the Project Team
“Research on Innovation of Power Transmission and Distribution”
in Accordance with the Project on Engineering Technology in Higher Eaducation”
“The Research on Innovation of Power Transmission and Distribution” Project Team has been conducting research in four different fields with 26 members under the leadership of Ass.Prof. PhD, B. Sergelen, since 2015.
The four main fields of the project team:

As a result of this research, to introduce smart-energy network with dual low and medium power, we aim to establish a distribution and testing laboratory for consumers and to introduce new innovative products.
The project continues to support research activities with degree and non-degree programs and guest professorships based on the goals and objectives of the project team.
In collaboration with professors from Japanese universities, every year at least two guest professors, with a total of 10 guest professors being invited,organize extensive training and seminars for faculty, project team members, and engineering staff. The following are:
1. Professors of the Project team, School of Power Engineering, MUST: Prof., PhD Eiji Kaneko, The University of the Ryukyus and Dr. Katsuhiko Harada, Kyushuy Technical College, who conducted 56 hours training seminars on “Solution of Power Engineering Techniques and Technology” in 2017, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia;
2. Project team professors, Power Engineering School, MUST, Prof., PhD Eiji Kaneko, The University of the Ryukyus and Prof., PhD Dei Tsutomu, Ashikaga University, who conducted a 50-hour training seminar on “Project Planning and Development Using Renewable Energy '' in 2018, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

As for the degree program, within the project implementation, Assistant Instructor B. Tuvshinbayar has been studying for the Doctoral degree program at Kyushu Institute of Technology . B. Nomulin, assistant of the Electrical Engineering Department, SPE, MUST has been studying for Master’s Degree program at Ashikaga University in Japan.
Professors and researchers working in four different fields have successfully conducted their experiments in laboratories in Japanese universities that work closely with our universities.
For instance: We work closely with Ashikaga University in the field of renewable energy, cooperating with the University of the Ryukyus in Power Supply and Automatic Control and with Kyushu Institute of Technology in the field of Electromagnetic Compatibility.

As a result of the project, B. Sergelen, project leader, signed an MOU with Professors of the Japanese universities. Moreover, she has helped graduate students for the Master’s and Doctoral Program to contact supervisors at Japanese universities. It will be a great contribution to conduct a research aiming to fulfill project goals and objectives. After graduation, the student researchers will come back to their home country and work at the MUST School of Power Engineering. Besides these, new innovative products will be introduced in the market of the country and new research laboratories will be built.
