Career Meeting in Sainshand, Dornogobi province

Teachers of the "Electrical Power Supply" program in the Electrical Engineering Department of the School of Power Engineering at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology held a professional meeting with its graduates in Sainshand, Dornogovi province, from June 27- 29, 2015.

During the meeting, we have organized an open discussion on working with alumni of the Dornogovi aimag who graduated from the School of Power Engineering of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology with a degree in Electrical Power Supply, as well as further career issues.

N. Badraa, head the 2^nd division of the Energy Water Supply of UB Rail Road and M.Enkhtyuya, sales engineer, welcomed us and presented their experiences and discussed current issues on construction and upgrade of the 2^nd division of the Sainshand city. The teachers got acquainted with the operation of the G-73 type diesel power plant, a power supply and backup generator of the plant.

 Also, Kh. Gantsatsral, electrical engineer of Chandmani-Ilch C/Ltd, Sainshand, graduate student in Electrical Power Supply, introduced the operation of the thermal power plant and discussed further cooperation.

Dr. B. Sergelen, Electrical Engineering Department, School of Power Engineering, MUST introduced in details the accreditations of Electrical Power Supply Program for Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree by ASIIN eV- (Accreditation Agency for Degree Programs in Engineering, Informatics, the Natural) Sciences and Mathematics) and EUR-ACE (Framework Standards for the Accreditation of Engineering Programs) accreditation in Europe.
