Undergraduate and graduate student Research Conference on "Electricity consumption and efficiency” was co-organized by Power Engineering School, Students’ association of Power Engineering School and Institute of Energy Economics on 18-20 March, 2016.

At the electrical section of the conference more than 60 undergraduate and graduate students presented 41 research projects orally.

At the undergraduate student conference, presentation “Software for mechanical load calculation of overhead power line”, supervised by prof. Sh. Gantumur, Ph.D, Head of Electrical Engineering Department and presented by J. Munkh-Orgil won the 1st place. Presentation “Feasibility study to reduce household energy cost” supervised by Sh. Davaakhuu, senior teacher of Electrical Engineering Department and presented by G. Byambajav, E. Otgonbileg, T. Oyuntungalag, and A. Buyankhishig, won the special place.

 

At the graduate student conference presentation “Study of upper harmonics of low voltage line” supervised by Prof. Z. Tserendorj, Ph.D. and presented by master students I. Uyanga, E. Buyankhishig, won the 1st place. Presentation “Research result to improve 10kV Mungunmorti feeder procedure and voltage quality in Baganuur”, supervised by prof. Sh. Gantumur, Ph.D, Head of Electrical Engineering Department and presented by master student N. Mungunshagai, won the 2nd place.
