Director's message

The history of our Power engineering school began in 1960 with the opening of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the National University of Mongolia to train national leading specialists with high education in the energy sector.

In addition to training engineers and technicians, our teachers have a high level of intelligence to study and solve any problems in the energy sector on a scientific basis, to create new advanced technologies, and to introduce them into production.

We are always proud to be a talented and creative team. This is evidenced by the fact that 54% of the teachers at the school have academic degrees, 3 are full members of the MAS, 3 are academicians, and 6 are state-awarded an honorary teacher.

Our school offers bachelor's, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in 13 energy majors and prepares globally competitive professionals in line with the development policies and objectives of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. To improve the quality of training, the training-research-production integration is ensured by strengthening the training material base and improving the training technology. Our mission should be to keep pace with the rapid development of science and information technology, to constantly update our training plans, and to train professionals who meet the interests and requirements of the manufacturer.

Our academic staff will be happy to help anyone who wants to become a highly educated, knowledgeable and skilled professional who will be able to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the energy sector, which is the backbone of the country's socio-economic development, and become a leader in the country's development.
